I have always felt the one of my biggest strengths is how comfortable I can make a subject and as a photographer I know how hard it is to pose in front of the lens.
Dalya made happiness and comfort look easy. The smile with the camera just shows that when you are doing something you love - it shows.
Own The Space
I haven’t had many chances to work directly with Dalya but have always been impressed with her work. Getting to know her showed someone who is vivacious in life, knows boundaries but also exudes confidence. And all these traits are shown in the images she captures
Walk The Walk
We caught the blurry bug. A new cinematic imperfectly perfect shot that is the current craze. This was my first time capturing it and capturing it with Dalya holding her camera made it a bit more special
Whats Vulnerability?
This is Dalya’s favourite shot and from her perspective I can see why. For me this image stand out because it gives a sese of vulnerability but that vulnerability is negated when holding the camera. Something that even I feel when i am holding my camera - my own therapy.
